    The Belmont Stakes won't have a Triple Crown on the line after Seize the Grey beat Kentucky Derby winner Mystik Dan in the Preakness. But the Belmont is still one of the most anticipated events in the sport's history because it's being held at Saratoga Race Course for the first time.

      Max Verstappen held off a challenge from McLaren's Lando Norris to win the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix and extend his Formula 1 championship lead. Verstappen started on pole position and stayed ahead of Norris at the start but was put under pressure by the McLaren driver again near the end. It was the defending champion's fifth win in seven Grand Prix races this year and followed Verstappen being beaten by Norris in Miami two weeks ago. Norris placed second and Charles Leclerc was third for Ferrari.

      Kyle Larson has arrived at North Wilkesboro Speedway for the start of Sunday night's All-Star Race following a busy afternoon in which the NASCAR star qualified fifth for the Indianapolis 500.

      Bryson DeChambeau put on the kind of show, and got the sort of breaks, that make players larger than life and sometimes win them major championships. Yet somehow, when DeChambeau looked up at the final scoreboard at the PGA Championship, his name was stuck in second.

      Xander Schauffele has won his first major with a thrilling win at the PGA Championship. Schauffele made a 6-foot birdie putt on the last hole at Valhalla for a one-shot victory over Bryson DeChambeau. And Schauffele set a major championship scoring record in the process. The Olympic gold medalist now has a something even more valuable in silver. He gets to hoist the Wanamaker Trophy. Schauffele finished at 21-under 263, breaking by one shot the major record. Schauffele is the first player since Phil Mickelson in 2005 to birdie the last hole of the PGA Championship to wiin by one.

      Scott McLaughlin in the famed "Yellow Submarine" entry led a Team Penske sweep of the front row of Indianapolis 500 qualifying with a new track record Sunday around Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
